Under Oregon’s public accommodation law, private and public entities and businesses cannot deny anyone the services or benefits they provide to others because of race, color, age, sex, or national origin. A substantial economic remedy is available to rectify this wrong. And employers cannot fire a worker for any reason that violates public policy, including race.

Unfortunately, race discrimination is still a major problem in our community.
