Heather is a litigation paralegal with 15 years of experience. She earned a BA in Political Science from New College of Florida. She has a true passion for civil rights, and had the opportunity to begin her career in Denver, Colorado doing both civil rights and criminal defense work. Heather has since worked in the areas of employment and environmental law. She joined the firm in October 2019 and is excited to have the opportunity to work in the area of civil rights again.
In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. They love travelling, but when at home they take full advantage of the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. With roots in Colorado, Heather enjoys all things outdoors including hiking, camping, and snowboarding in the mountains. When the Portland rain keeps her indoors, Heather loves reading, painting, and cuddling with her German Shepherd, Jack.
Heather supports the partners and lawyers at the firm with case management, discovery and deposition preparation, case investigation, fact gathering, client and witness interviews, document requests, and preparation for mediation and trial. Most of all, Heather values the opportunity to create relationships with her clients.
